MEET THE ANIMALS OF SWITTZ CREEK FARM
From feathered favorites to four-legged companions, Swittz Creek Farm is home to a wonderfully diverse family of animals. The farm raises chickens, ducks, quail, swans, goats, sheep, and exotic birds—including macaws, cockatoos, Amazons, and conures.
The farm is also home to beloved companion animals, including cats, prairie dogs, and fish. Although they aren’t part of the breeding program, they are still important members of the Swittz Creek family.
Every animal receives hands-on care, proper nutrition, and attention to its individual needs. Whether responsibly raised, contributing to the farm, or simply enjoying life as a cherished companion, each animal’s health and quality of life comes first.
Many of these species will be available in the fall of each year. Keep an eye out on future birds available.

Swans are some of the most striking residents of Swittz Creek Farm. We are home to both elegant Mute Swans and beautiful Australian Black Swans, each bringing their own unique personality and beauty to the farm.

Swittz Creek Farm is home to a diverse collection of exotic and ornamental ducks from around the world. From tiny, colorful teal to striking tree ducks and mergansers, each species brings something unique to our ponds and aviaries.

Swittz Creek Farm is home to a unique collection of quail and ornamental gamebirds. From colorful Button Quail to striking Gambel's, Blue Scale, and Snowflake Bobwhites, each variety brings its own distinctive colors, markings, and personality to the farm.

Our Katahdin sheep are a hardy, easy-keeping breed known for their gentle nature and excellent adaptability. Unlike traditional wool breeds, Katahdins are hair sheep, naturally shedding their winter coats each spring and requiring no shearing.

Swittz Creek Farm is home to our herd of Nigerian Dwarf goats, known for their small size, friendly personalities, and rich, creamy milk. Our goats are a big part of life on the farm, providing the fresh goat milk used to handcraft our signature soaps while bringing plenty of personality and charm along the way.

Our assorted hookbills bring plenty of color, personality, and character to the farm. This diverse group includes a variety of parrots like Azul , pictured above, who is a blue and gold macaw. Other parrots on the farm include macaws, sulphur crested cockatoos, blue front amazon, green-cheek conures, and lineolated parakeets. They bring intelligence, curiosity, and striking colors to the farm.
